平板电脑外壳的用途是组装平板电脑，即一种手持式的电脑。在创造模式下还有一种创造平板电脑外壳可用。

与机器人不同，平板电脑只能安装种类有限的升级。平板电脑（2级和创造）只有一个既可安装升级又可安装扩展卡容器的槽位。
